The Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Equity Feeder Fund is a specialist portfolio. The investment objective of the Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Equity Feeder Fund is to achieve a return in excess of the MSCI ACWI Index. In order to achieve the portfolio's investment objectives, the investments to be included in the Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Equity Feeder Fund will, apart from assets in liquid form and exchange rate swaps, consist solely of participatory interests, or any other form of participation, in the Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Fund, a sub-fund of the Russell Investment Company Public Limited Company which is an actively managed fund investing in a diversified portfolio of global equity and equity related securities. The Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Equity Feeder Fund may gain exposure to listed and unlisted financial instruments for efficient portfolio management purposes, as legislation may permit from time to time. The Manager will be permitted to invest on behalf of the Old Mutual Global Managed Alpha Equity Feeder Fund in offshore investments as legislation permits.
